Seth Carney
Pastor Seth it’s been said, “Is a calm soul”, always looking to meet others and to make people feel welcome!
Seth grew up in small-town Oklahoma and later graduated from Oklahoma State University. He’s spent many years preaching, working in the community, and helping churches grow stronger. His heartbeat is teaching the Bible in a way that makes sense on Monday morning — real, practical, and full of hope. He’s not big on titles or formalities; he’s all about relationships, authenticity, and seeing lives changed by Jesus.
His wife Angie is the friendly smile and steady encouragement everyone notices right away. She loves people deeply, has a way of making anyone feel comfortable, and brings warmth wherever she goes. Whether she’s welcoming someone new or praying with a friend, she helps make Calvary feel like family.
Together, Seth and Angie love to travel, love history and play Scrabble. They are grateful to live and serve in Raton — enjoying the scenery, the people, and the chance to walk alongside anyone who stops in, whether you’re local, passing through, or joining online.
If you meet them on a Sunday or out around town, don’t be surprised if you’re greeted like an old friend. They’re just glad you’re here.
